A little over a week ago it was all star weekend in Nashville, now were in the final stretch of the regular season. The Blackhawks have come out of the all star break red hot, winning the first three games, outscoring opponents 12-6 in that span. On the other hand, the Sharks have had 2 losses and just 1 win in the same span, scoring 5 goals and allowing 10. So, can the Sharks stop the red hot Blackhawks, or can the Hawks extend their winning streak to 4 games. According to Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times, Artemi Panarin is a game time decision due to an illness. If he does end up missing this game, newly acquired Jiri Sekac seems likely to fil that void.
Prediction for the game:
Blackhawks: 4
Sharks: 2
I expect to see a good outing from the Blackhawks today, coming off a solid 5-1 victory over the Dallas stars and two days of rest, but the Sharks have shown flashes this season and are defiantly looking to bounce back after a rough 6-2 loss in Nashville on Saturday.
