Rickard Rackel’s two first period goals proved to be the difference in last night’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Philadelphia came out dismal, being out shot 15-5 after the first period. Rackel scored two goals in the first, Chris Stewart gave the Ducks an insurance goal in the second period with a penalty shot goal on Steve Mason, and Andrew Cogliano sealed it with an empty net, quickly after the Wayne Simmonds scored to pull the Flyers within a goal.
Final score: ANH-4 PHI-1
Ducks improve to 26-19-7 on the season, Flyers fall to 23-20-9.
