Game Preview: Flyers at Canadiens

The Flyers have a chance to sweep the season series between these two clubs tonight and along with that there are also huge playoff implications. As of now the Flyers are sitting 4 points out and if they can pick up 2 tonight it would be huge. This would also be their 2nd straight win after defeating the Devils 6 – 3 on Tuesday!

The Canadiens look to stop a 3 game skid tonight at home. They have been in freefall lately, mostly due to losing starting goalie Carey Price to injury.

Keys to the Game:

1: Play a full 60 minutes. As sloppy as Tuesday was at times (for both sides) we yet again saw what happens when they play the entire game.

2: Cut down on the penalties. The Flyers put New Jersey on the powerplay 8 times on Tuesday. Luckily the PK was 7/8. You can’t expect that to happen every night.

3: Get a ton pucks on net. The Flyers have very often found themselves with very low SOG totals. This backup goalie is no 2nd Carey Price so if they get a ton of shots on him eventually he will start to crack.

Catch all the action live from the Bell Center in Montreal starting at 7:30!!!
