Panthers acquire Hudler from Flames for Picks

The Calgary Flames have traded pending UFA Jiri Hudler to the Florida Panthers in exchange for a 2016 2nd round draft pick and 2018 4th round pick.

Hudler, 32, is set to become an unrestricted free agent this off season. He has spent 4 years with the Flames where he recorded 68 goals and 192 points in 248 career games with the Flames.

Hudler led the Flames in points and a career high total for him last year with 76, en route to the Flames first playoff birth since 2008-2009.

After a slow start to this years season, he was reunited with linemates Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan. It up from there and in 53 games this year, he had 10 goals, 35 points and 35 penalty minutes.
