Bruins add depth on the blue line, get Liles from ‘Canes

The Boston Bruins made their first move at the deadline today by acquiring defenseman John Michael-Liles from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for a 2016 3rd round pick, 2017 5th round pick and forward Anthony Camara.

Liles, 35, has had a good season this year tallying 6 goals and 15 points in 64 games. Liles is a consistent defender who can log 20+ minutes a night.

Camara was drafted 81st overall in 2011 by the Boston Bruins. The 22 year old has played the whole year with Providence of the AHL where he has 5 points in 33 games. To go with that he is -2 and 54 penalty minutes.
