The Anaheim Ducks have acquired forward Jamie McGinn from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a conditional 2016 3rd round draft pick.
McGinn, 27, set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, has played alongside Jack Eichel this year and has 14 goals and 27 points in 63 games. Six of those goals coming on the power play.
McGinn was a 2nd round, 36th overall pick by the San Jose Sharks in 2006.
The conditions on the 3rd round pick are that if Anaheim wins two playoff series and McGinn plays 50% of those games, the pick becomes a 2017 2nd round pick.
