Kings acquire Sutter from Wild for Sabourin

The Los Angeles Kings have acquired their head coach Darryl Sutter’s son Brett Sutter from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for forward Scott Sabourin.

Sutter, 28, has spent the entire year with the Iowa Wild of the AHL where he has 4 goals and 10 points in 57 games along with a -13 rating. In 2014-2015, he played 6 games with Minnesota where he had 3 assists in that time.

Sabourin, the undrafted 23 year old, has played 23 games with the Ontario Reign of the AHL and has 3 goals and 5 points along with 56 penalty minutes.
