ST. LOUIS — Forward Alexander Steen sustained an upper-body injury back on Feb. 20 in a game against the Coyotes. After several weeks of rest and rehab, Steen is set to return to the roster when the Blues host the Avalanche tomorrow night at Scottrade Center.
Despite missing time, Steen remains second on the team in points this season, having posted 17 goals and 30 assists in 61 games played.
Improving health has been a major focus for the Blues, who have been one of the hardest hit teams in the NHL regarding injuries this season. Steen’s return to the roster will be much welcomed as they continue to battle for both a Central Division Title and home ice in the Western Conference playoffs.
