The Chicago Blackhawks victory over the Bruins today has ensured that we will see the Florida Panthers in the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs. This will mark the first time the Panthers have been in the playoffs since 2011-12.

The Boston Bruins did not know what to do, in their 6-4 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks Sunday afternoon. The line, consisting of Panarin-Anisimov-Kane has been arguably the most dangerous line for the Blackhawks this season, and today was just another example. The Line combined for 11 points. Chicago is one of the deepest teams in the NHL this season, with multiple lines that are dangerous. Their first two lines are better than most 1st lines on other teams in the league. Tuukka Rask was pulled from the game, after allowing four goals on 22 shots. For the Bruins, this is not the right time to get cold.
With the Stanley Cup Playoffs less than two weeks away, they need to find their game again, regroup, and get their heads on straight if they want that wild card spot. They are currently three points from the Islanders, for the first wild card spot and only one point away from the Flyers for the second wild card. Although, Boston has one more game played than both teams they’re chasing.
The Bruins only have four games left, and will have to play better than they did today if they want to ensure a spot in the playoffs.
