Elliott strong, pushing Blues over Hawks 3-2

Goaltending has been fantastic thus far for the St. Louis Blues. The Blues defeated the Blackhawks on Sunday afternoon 3-2, to take a 2-1 series lead in their Western Conference Quarter Final Matchup.

For the Blackhawks, Brent Seabrook and Artem Anisimov scored. For the Blues, it was Colton Parayko, Patrik Berglund and Jaden Schwartz. With Berglund and Schwartz both scoring in the 3rd period.

The Hawks out shot the Blues 46-36.

For the Blues, it was their power-play that helped to spark the offense in this one. Also, with Brian Elliott making 44 saves definitely helps too. Elliott was the NHL’s 1st star of the game.

Game 4 goes on Tuesday, at the United Center.
