Jagr gets 200th career playoff point, 5th player ever to accomplish

The ageless wonder was at it again on Wednesday night. Jaromir Jagr tallied his 200th career playoff in the Florida Panthers 2-1 win over the New York Islanders.

Jagr assisted a Teddy Purcell goal which gave Florida a 1-0 lead in the 2nd period. It was Jagr’s 122nd career playoff assist in his 206th career playoff game.

He becomes just the 5th player all time to score 200 career playoff points. He joins NHL legends Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Jari Kurri and Glenn Anderson.

It was the 44 year old’s 1st point in the 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs and helped the Panthers win 2-1 and tie the series at two a piece. Game 5 comes Friday in Florida at 6:00 PM ET and can be seen on Sportsnet and TVAS.
