The Toronto Maple Leafs made some big moves today acquiring goaltender Frederik Andersen from the Anaheim Ducks for the 30th overall pick in 2016 and a 2017 2nd round pick.
It was then reported that the Leafs signed Andersen to a 5 year, $25 million contract ($5 million AAV).
Andersen played in 43 games for the Ducks this year posting a 22-9-4 record, a .919 save percentage and a 2.30 GAA.
Andersen who turns 27 in October, was set to become a restricted free agent on July 1st.
The Ducks now own the 24th overall and 30th overall picks in this years first round.
