Panthers lose Huberdeau for 3-4 months with leg injury

The Florida Panthers, a team that is looking to contend in the 2016/17 season is now without a promising forward. They are without Jonathan Huberdeau for 3-4 months, with a lower-body injury.

He was injured in the Panthers’ 4-2 preseason win over the New Jersey Devils. He left the game in the first period, after Sergey Kalinin’s skate came down on the back of his left ankle. Huberdeau scored 20 goals last season and had 39 assists for 59 points in 76 games.
