Wayne Gretzky to replace Tortorella as Metropolitan coach at All-Star Weekend

‘The Great One,’ Wayne Gretzky will replace John Tortorella as the head coach of the Metropolitan division at All-Star Weekend.

Tortorella could not make it this weekend, due to family reasons.

Gretzky coached four seasons in the NHL, amassing a 143-161-24 record. Before his coaching stint with the Phoenix Coyotes, he played 1487 games with the Oilers, Kings, Blues and Rangers.
