Washington Capitals forward Andre Burakovsky will be out of the lineup until mid-March with hand injury, says coach Barry Trotz.
That’s a big blow for the Capitals. Burakovsky is a good, young talent that brings spark and fire to the Caps lineup each and every night. The 22-year old Austrian has 11 goals and 18 assists, for 29 points in 52 games this season. He has been really good for their secondary scoring.
This is a blow to a Capitals team looking to make another big impact in this year’s regular season. Fans will be hoping he comes into shape before the playoffs, to help the team achieve a deep playoff run.
