Game Preview: Flyers vs Ducks

The Flyers will look to stop a 2 game weekend skid tonight after losing crucial points over the weekend in games that certainly should have both ended in a W had it not been for some mental slips (and ref help).

Anaheim is also looking to have a strong showing tonight as they got smacked around by Pittsburgh 6-2 last night.

The last meeting between these 2 teams on December 27th of last year ended in Anaheim taking the win 4-2.

Keys to the Game:

1: If the Flyers want to get a win tonight they need to shut down Corey Perry. He leads the Ducks in scoring with 21 goals, which is 10 more than anyone else on the squad.

2: They must find a way to beat John Gibson who (aside from last night) has been red hot this year with a 2.17 GAA and a .917 save percentage so far.

3: They need to get the power play going again which was a dismal 0/6 in Washington on Sunday.

Let’s hope they can pour it on tonight and pick up some crucial points in the standings! Catch the game live from the Wells Fargo Center at 7pm EST on Comcast Sportsnet!!!
