Canadiens’ Streak Lives On Against the Lighting


The Montreal Canadiens  (27-24-4) bested the Tampa Bay Lightning  (29-20-4) 4-2 at the Bell Center on Tuesday night.

Montreal forwards Brendan Gallagher and Devante Smith-Pelly both scored a goal while forward Tomas Plekanec had a pair.

Tampa Bay forward Valtteri Filppula scores 40 seconds into the second period to make it 1-1 and defenseman Victor Headman scored midway through the third to make it 4-2.
